England boss Fabio Capello is planning talks with Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Capello wants to know how determined Spanish-born Almunia is about declaring himself for England. The Italian is prepared to battle his FA employers and insist Almunia be capped by England should he receive a positive response.
