Newcastle United striker Michael Owen has again been overlooked by England boss Fabio Capello.

Owen has been left out of the squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Belarus on Saturday and the following Wednesday.

Owen's quality has brought him 89 England caps but it is the second successive time he has been omitted and he must fear he has no way back into international football during the Italian's reign.
