England boss Fabio Capello says he's up-to-speed on the John Terry scandal. Capello told the Daily Mail he was aware of all the facts involved in the alleged sex scandal involving Chelsea captain Terry and the estranged partner of his international colleague, Wayne Bridge.
The Italian is recovering from a knee op in Switzerland and said: "I know everything. I can't say anything at the moment but I will be back in London on Thursday."
Capello spoke to both FA chairman Lord Triesman and Ian Watmore, the FA chief executive, and received their total support in being allowed to make a decision on Terry's future on "footballing grounds" alone.
It is understood he will make his decision before the weekend in an effort to diffuse a situation that is threatening to derail England's preparations for the World Cup in South Africa this summer.
An FA insider said: "Fabio likes him as a player and as a skipper because his attitude has been perfect. But he also has to consider all the factors before making a decision. He does not feel under pressure to make that decision, though, because he is used to pressure."
