England officials have been alerted to the availability of Belenenses midfielder Fabio Sturgeon.
The Mirror says the attacking ace is valued at £2.4million by his club and while Portuguese giants Benfica are also interested Sturgeon, who has an English father, would rather move to the Premier League.
The Portugal Under-20 international is also still eligible to play for England.
Liverpool are among Premier League clubs keen.
