Energie Cottbus striker Boubacar Sanogo is flattered by interest from West Ham United.

Sanogo is the top scorer in the German second division with five goals so far this season.

"I thank God for blessing me, I now have the joy of playing football again and of scoring goals," he told skysports.com.

"I went through a lot over the past two years, nothing worked for me. It has been difficult.

"Now all that is in the past. Being linked with a move to West Ham or any club is good, but I am very happy with my club. However, you never know in football."
