Aston Villa fullback Enda Stevens is floating after his first appearance at Villa Park.

The midseason signing from Shamrock Rovers saw action for the reserves this week.

"It is a good feeling to go in the dressing room, put on the jersey and then to come out at Villa Park on any occasion, no matter what it is," he said.

"It was excellent. The pitch is unbelievable out there, it is a nice size, the grass is cut perfectly and it is a massive stadium.

"The atmosphere is always good for the Premier League games and it is just good to be involved."
