Emre Can is confident Liverpool can turn their season around.
Can was one of boss Brendan Rodgers' major summer imports following the departure of Luis Suarez and it is fair to say that the new-look Liverpool have failed to make an impact.
But Can is confident glory days are just around the corner.
He said: "I see every day in training that we have a great team. I see that we are working together really well.
"Obviously we have been unlucky at certain points and there have been a lot of players coming in.
"We know it's about time that we get results and I am confident we can do that. The first thing is to get points now. I want to improve as a player and the team also wants to improve together.
"Everybody is working hard. I want to play in the Champions League again next year and I want us to be among the best teams in English football.
"It is in our hands to win the two remaining games in the group and I am sure that we can do that.
"The goal against Chelsea felt great and it gave me a confidence boost.
"Obviously we have had a lot of players coming in this season and it will take a little bit of time to adapt.
"But I'm certain there will be better results."
