Empoli striker Nicola Pozzi is eager to make a move to Torino.

"Torino remain my first choice," he told Tuttosport. "I keep my word and, if the other side maintain the same consistency and don't forget about me, we can make this happen."

Sampdoria, Bologna and Lazio are said to be interested in the forward, but Pozzi sent out a clear message.

"I don't want to play in Serie B and it is not my fault I got injured and the team was relegated. Parma had a similar issue with Luca Cigarini and Daniele Dessena, so they sold them in a co-ownership deal.

"Considering Cairo was the first to make a move and gave me his word, if no other side beats their offer then Torino are my first choice. That is, if the Granata have not changed their minds…"
