Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi admits Fiorentina had the chance to sign Daniele Rugani.
Rugani left Empoli for Juventus last summer.
“I continue to take players from Fiorentina, but they do not do the same with Empoli," Corsi told Radio Blu.
“Rugani could've been a Fiorentina player, the same goes for Eder a few years ago and Raggi, who is now the captain of Monaco.
“In any case, I am happy to carry on asking Fiorentina for players and getting the best out of them, like Matias Vecino."
