Aston Villa fullback Stephen Warnock is being lined up for a sensational return to Liverpool.
Warnock, who kicked off his career at Anfield before moving to Blackburn Rovers, is set return to his old haunting ground to solve Kenny Dalglish's left-back problem.
The Daily Mail says England international Warnock is to return to Liverpool on loan.
Warnock has fallen out of favour under Gerard Houllier at Villa Park and is considering an opportunity to solve Liverpool's left-back problem by rejoining them for the rest of the season.
