Emirates Airline has been announced as a sponsor of the 30th edition of the GCC Club Cup, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The deal gives Emirates branding and advertising opportunities on key signboards, as well as hospitality rights at all stadiums during the 33 matches of the soccer tournament.
Shaikh Majid Al Mualla, the divisional senior vice president of the commercial operations centre for Emirates, said: "We see our support for this highly viewed event as an opportunity to connect with football fans across six countries in the GCC who are looking forward to cheering on their favourite clubs.
"This tournament will also provide us with an excellent way of communicating with football fans, as well as generating brand exposure in the nine key markets that we operate."
The GCC Club Cup is an annual tournament which sees 12 teams from six Gulf Cooperation Council nations - Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and the UAE - compete for honours.
