Arsenal manager Unai Emery does not want to lose Lucas Torreira this summer.

The Gunners boss is hoping that his club will resist offers for the central midfielder this summer.

The 23-year-old Uruguayan has not settled well in London, after admitting struggles in connecting with his colleagues due to the language barrier.

However, the Mirror claims that Torreira is a key member of the team that Emery wants to build at Arsenal.

It is why he is not prepared to sanction his exit to AC Milan, who have the most concrete interest in the defensive midfielder.

Torreira joined Arsenal last summer from Sampdoria.
