PSG coach Unai Emery has defended their and Manchester City's mega spending.
Emery insists the largesse is good for European football.
He dismissed accusations from their critics that City and PSG are buying success because of their wealthy Middle Eastern owners and insists they are increasing competition.
“The clubs see their kingdom under threat from PSG and Manchester City, who are teams with new-found financial capacity," he said.
“I think this is good for football that there are these new teams. Everyone should be grateful."
