Blackburn Rovers midfielder Brett Emerton is happy to be back in the first team after victory over Blackpool.
Emerton though isn't about to start complaining about his lack of first team opportunities, instead insisting he will just make sure he takes his chances when they come.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "It has been frustrating for me. As a player you always want to be playing but the boys have been doing a decent job and I recognise that.
"I recognise it is a team game and it is a very long season. Everyone will get their opportunity throughout the year and I am just working as hard as I can to make sure I am 100 per cent ready when I get my chance.
"I am not the sort to go knocking on the manager's door. I try to let my feet do the talking on the pitch, on the training ground and when I get my opportunity.
"It is a team game, although you want to play, you have to support your team mates and be ready when your time comes.
"Obviously he has his reasons for leaving me out, the boys have been doing okay so no reason to chop and change the team. My time will come and I am going to make sure I am ready."
