Blackburn Rovers midfielder Brett Emerton is in doubt for the next Socceroos World Cup qualifying clash. Emerton, who missed the weekend's English Premier League match against Chelsea, looks likely to be sidelined for up to two weeks.
The hamstring strain will almost certainly keep Emerton out of Australia's qualifier in Bahrain on November 20.
He will join FC Basel defender Scott Chipperfield on the Socceroos' injury list.
