Former Corinthians coach Emerson Leao has slated their pursuit of Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez.

Emerson Leao didn't see eye-to-eye with Tevez during his previous spell with the Brazilian giants.

And he told O Globo: "Corinthians want to pay €18.5 million for him, so I've heard.

"This is his worth as a footballer, but not as a person. He makes life for coaches definitely not easy."
