Fulham midfielder Urby Emanuelson has kept the door open to a permanent deal.

Emanuelson is on-loan at Fulham from AC Milan.

"It's a bit of a difficult situation," said Emanuelson talking to Voetbal International. "The Premier League is a league of very high level. Now I'm starting to find my niche but I have to go back to Milan.

"I must get back for preseason then I can play myself back into the picture. I do not know where my future lies.

"I am 27 in the summer, so I think it's important to play."
