Sunderland winger Ahmed Elmohamady has urged Hull City boss Steve Bruce to deal in Egypt teammate Gedo.
Gedo, 28, grabbed five goals for Tigers in 12 outings before a foot injury cut short his season.
Elmohamady, 25, said: "He helped us a lot in our fight to win promotion. His goals were crucial.
"Gedo is a brilliant player who has the right mentality. He can play for any club in the Premier League."
On loan from Cairo giants Al-Ahly, Gedo is available at a knockdown price of £2million.
