Bolton Wanderers striker Johan Elmander insists he can live with his record price-tag.

"No, it's something for media to write about," he said.

"I've been there before. Then all of a sudden you are hailed again. I am not the typical striker that scores in every game even though I have reached a higher level and become better at it.

"Now I am playing in a better league, and maybe we are not playing that kind of game that gives me all the chances, so I'm working more for the team."
