Elmander convinced being Norwich leader

Johan Elmander feels he can take a leadership role at Norwich City.

The former Bolton Wanderers striker has been signed on a £500,000 season-long loan from Turkish side Galatasaray.

Elmander, 32, said: "I'm older and experienced now and hopefully I can help the younger players. When I was at Bolton Kevin Davies did exactly that sort of job.

"At Galatasaray I was the daddy in the dressing room and hopefully I can do the same thing here at Norwich."
