Former Celtic and Chelsea defender Paul Elliott is backing Sol Campbell to move to Parkhead.
The Arsenal defender has offers from Celtic and West Ham United.
"I know Sol well and he is a top player, even at 35," Elliott told The Herald. "He has got over 60 caps, he has played in the Champions League, he has played in FA Cup finals so he has got a distinguished cv. He is still a class player and a motivated player. I think he would add a tremendous amount of value and I think he would relish the challenge of playing for one of Europe's biggest clubs.
"He is still up for a big challenge because he knows that he is a long time retired. He has got financial security so to come to a club like Celtic and have that on your cv would only add to an extremely impressive portfolio."
