Elfsborg head coach Janne Mian has revealed that Stefan Ishizaki is close to joining LA Galaxy.
The 31-year old winger has been heavily linked with a January shift to the MLS club and according to Mian it will be finalised soon.
"He is ready for the Galaxy, it is the information that I have received," Mian told fotbollskanalen.se.
"We have lost a point player. He delivers points year after year, so that we have lost. Now others must step forward and take his role."
Ishizaki has been with Elfsborg since arriving from Norwegian club Valerenga in 2006 after kicking off his career with AIK Stockholm in 1999 where he remained until 2004.
