Manchester City midfielder Elano is winning round manager Mark Hughes.

After his performance against Hull last week, Hughes told City's website: "I thought he did really well on Boxing Day. I got a good response from him, and he showed that he wants to be part of what we are doing.

"That's what everybody has to do, and he had a good, positive impact. In other games, maybe different personnel would be the right way to go, sometimes it has to be horses for courses."
