Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno admitted frustration after their defeat at Barcelona in the El Clasico.
Barca won 2-1, with Real having dominated the first-half.
"Disappointed by the result .., sorry, the first half was ours, the chances and the game, especially in the last part before the break," said Butragueno. "We have not taken advantage of those moments - like Cristiano's shot against the crossbar.
"We could have gone to the break at 1-2 or 1-3. But it was not to be. You have to take your chances, because a rival will take theirs.
"Barca have achieved a great goal from Luis Suarez. From there they were better.
"It was a shame as at the break we were in a favorable position. Such equality is decided by two or three plays, and Barca have performed better."
