Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu was delighted with their 2-1 win over Real Madrid.

Barca now go four points clear at the top of the table.

Bartomeu said: "It was a great game and we are delighted with the result. In the first half, Madrid proved to be very dangerous.

"But we won the points. Madrid managed to impose their style at times. At Barcelona we like to have the ball, but Madrid also impressed.

"The game was wonderful, vibrant, full of effort. Everyone fought hard. There were many chances."
