Heerenveen midfielder Magnus Eikrem is set to sign for Cardiff City.
New Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer worked with the former Manchester United junior at Molde and is set to make the Norway international his first signing.
The Mail on Sunday says Eikrem watched Cardiff's FA Cup win at Newcastle United from the stands and a deal is expected to go through later this week.
Capped 13 times by Norway, Eikrem signed for Dutch club Heerenveen during the summer and has scored twice in 13 appearances for the Eredivisie outfit.
