Egypt coach Hassan Shehata says they could be facing the next world champions at Wembley this week.

Shehata - whose team won a third ­consecutive African Nations Cup in January - is a great admirer of English football, and feels Fabio Capello's side can triumph in South Africa.

"The English team is a great team, one of the top five in the world," he said. "They have some of the most skilful players in the world.

"And for me, Mr Capello is one of the best coaches in the world.

"England can win the World Cup - and I think it's time that they did."
