Egypt coach Hector Cuper believes Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah benefited from his rough time with Chelsea.
Cuper believes Salah's transformation, which started during his two years with Roma, can be traced back to the tough time with Chelsea earlier in his career.
“Salah had a dramatic evolution thanks to the the increase of his efforts, mainly because of the experiences that he garnered in Switzerland and Chelsea," said Cuper, speaking to World Soccer magazine.
“He was very young and is still very young. The demands began to be different and he has dealt with that process very well.
“He is a very humble guy, very simple, a player who is not at all confrontational. Usually, he listens a lot even though he is a very important player to the team.
“But behind every great player, there is the team. No player can do everything. We have a team that supporters, maintains and helps, just like him, he also contributes a lot."
