EFL reverse decision to change Arsenal kit for Carabao Cup final

The EFL have decided to change their decision to make Arsenal wear red shorts during the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City on Sunday.

The Gunners will now be allowed to wear their traditional kit which includes white shorts and red socks.

City will also wear their traditional kit of sky blue shirt, white shorts and white socks.

An EFL spokesperson said: "After due consideration, it has been decided that Arsenal and Manchester City will wear white shorts in Sunday's Carabao cup final.

"Arsenal were initially scheduled to wear red shorts, but it is the shared view of the EFL and the clubs that both teams should be able to wear their recognised first team colours in such an occasion as a major domestic cup final so long as it doesn't cause problems for the match officials."
