EFL CUP SEMI-FINAL DRAW: Man Utd land Hull, Liverpool get Southampton

The draw for the semi-finals of the 2016/17 EFL Cup has been made following the quarter-final ties.

Tuesday night's wins for Liverpool, over Leeds United, and Hull City, over Newcastle United, sees them into the final four while Manchester United, beating West Ham United, and Southampton, eliminating Arsenal, sets up the penultimate fixtures of the league cup.

The first legs of the two-legged matches sees United host Hull at Old Trafford in the week commencing January 9, before the two clubs resume hostilities at the KCOM Stadium a fortnight later.

The other semi-final tie has Southampton at home to Liverpool for the first leg, before the Saints and Reds head to Anfield.
