AIK striker Eero Markkanen has discussed his time at Real Madrid Castilla under Zinedine Zidane.
Zidane has just led Real to the Champions League final this week.
"He knows what he wants his team to do. He is very friendly to all players and has private interviews with the players often, especially with me when I had difficulties adjusting to Spain. He tried to help me. Overall, he is a good coach and he will only get better," the Finn told viasatsport.se.
"We had a good relationship and we had many private conversations. He helped me a lot and we used to train separately, just me and him. On our days off, I came in and trained on my finishing with him. He used to knock cross balls to me and I trained on my dribbling.
"People respected him. When he stepped into the room it went quiet. I remember one game when we won 4-1. Yet he shouted at us in the locker room after the game. He was not satisfied. I do not know why..."
