Eduardo has thanked Arsenal for their brilliant support on the 7th anniversary of his horrific leg break.
The Brazilian-born Croatian international was playing for the Gunners on February 23 back in 2008 when then Birmingham City defender Martin Taylor dislocated his ankle and broke his fibula with a horror challenge at St Andrew's.
The injury sustained by Eduardo did a lot to slow him down in the coming years but he pushed on and had a successful four-year career with Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk before moving on to Brazilian club Flamengo this past summer.
Seven years on from the incident, Eduardo took to Twitter to say thanks to the Arsenal fans for the support they showed him during his tough time.
It was exatcly seven years ago. My worst injury. But I don't want to remember the sadness, just the support that... pic.twitter.com/51UC4zU1dD
