Edu is delighted to see Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger splashing the cash.
Ex-Gunners midfielder Edu has backed deals or Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy.
The Brazilian, part of the "Invincible" team of 2004, believes such quality additions could see them challenging for the title next term.
"Arsenal are still in my heart and I still follow Arsene Wenger. I have a big relationship with that club," he said on talkSPORT.
"If they sign them [Sanchez and Debuchy] of course Arsene Wenger is very clever.
"Everybody knows he is good at signing players, particularly young ones, and they can give good things to Arsenal and make them better and stronger as they look to win the Premier League."
