Brazilian legend Edmundo has no doubts about the potential of Vinicius Junior.

The 17 year-old attacker is tied to Real Madrid, though currently is playing on-loan with Flamengo. The youngster is expected to join Real for preseason later this year in Europe.

Should he impress, Vinicius will be registered with Real, otherwise he will be loaned to a LaLiga rival for next season.

For his part Edmundo, who now acts as an agent, told AS: "He will be a new Neymar.

"If he keeps his freedom of expression on the ground and his playing abilities, he will be a new Neymar."
