Edgar delighted with progress at West Ham

West Ham United teenage winger Anthony Edgar is delighted with his progress this season.

He told whufc.com: "It's been a great year for me. I've scored goals for the youth team and got into the reserve team and scored for them too, so it's been brilliant."

At the end of May, reserve team manager Alex Dyer will lead a squad of young players at the Hong Kong Sevens tournament. Edgar was part of the squad that travelled to the Far East a year ago and is eager to be involved again this time around.

"It's a really good trip. I went last year and it's nice weather and the place we stayed in was nice. It was brilliant and I'd love to go again. It's a good experience. The other teams are a bit older than us so it's a great experience."
