Edgar Davids has left his player-manager's job at Barnet.
The 40-year-old former Tottenham, Juventus and Barcelona midfielder joined Barnet in October 2012 as a joint manager alongside Mark Robson, and took sole charge soon after, but his reign has now come to an end with the club 10th in the Skrill Conference Premier following Saturday's 2-1 loss at Chester.
"Barnet Football Club tonight announce that Edgar Davids has resigned by mutual agreement from his position as head coach," the club said in a statement on barnetfc.com.
"Everybody associated with the club would like to thank Edgar for his contribution during his time here and for his help in putting together the current team structure.
"The club would also like to wish Edgar the very best of luck in what we have no doubt will be the continuation of an illustrious career."
