Australian defender Gareth Edds scored in Tranmere's 2-1 victory over Stockport in League One action overnight.
The 27-year old opened the scoring in the 57th minute with a header from a Chris Shuker corner and in a dramatic finish, Ian More slotted a penalty to double the Rovers lead.
Moments later, Stockport's Oli Johnson managed a consolation goal.
The win sees Tranmere jump to eighth on the table, five points out of the play-off zone.
