Cardiff City are believed to be in hot pursuit of Morelia winger Jefferson Montero according to the Mirror.

The 24-year old Ecuador international has attracted the interest of the Welsh club who are reportedly ready to offer £4million for his services.

Montero has been in Mexico since his 2012 move from Villarreal but is keen on the Premier League and could be convinced to head to south Wales this January.
