Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish wants his players to go through the Lap of Honour traditions tomorrow at Villa Park.

Eck is unlikely to let them dodge the after-match ritual - and may decide to make them face-up to the fans they let down.

The Villa boss said: "I would like to think the players will thank the fans for their support - it should be a given!

"They owe me, they owe Randy Lerner, they owe everybody. They owe Aston Villa fans a massive performance."
