Alex McLeish has no doubts of Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko's quality ahead of Scotland's Euro2008 qualifier with Ukraine.
"But there's no doubt about the role he has got with Ukraine. They are still so reliant on him. And he played a key role against Italy.
"He looked very dangerous, and it belied his Chelsea form. He was making good runs, and counter-attacking well.
"Maybe he wasn't getting away from the quicker Italian defenders, but closing down on goal he is still a player to be feared. He is equally as strong on either foot and he is good in the air as well.
"He's a free spirit and a God in their team. He's a player I really admire."
