Eboue: I have never wanted to leave Arsenal

Emmanuel Eboue has reaffirmed his intentions to remain with Arsenal.

Eboue scored in Tuesday's 5-0 thrashing of Champions League opponents Porto.

"I never said I wanted to move," he said. "I have got two more years with Arsenal and I feel very well here. I want to win something for the club because they have helped me a lot, so I want to win something for them.

"Arsene Wenger is always with us when we have a bad day so for me I think he is like our Daddy so we are all happy to play for him."

You have proved to all of us that you are much
more stronger than Ade who had left Arsenal.
You have also shown the fans your real worth
by your determination to improve despite the
harsh criticisms you had received. But you have
today, credit to you, become an asset to Arsenal.
We would like you to continue to stay too!

Eboue is wiser than me.
