Ebi Smolarek is desperate to prove himself at Bolton Wanderers.

The Poland international has struggled to make an impact since arriving on-loan from Racing Santander.

"I'm confident I can score goals," said the former Feyenoord forward. "I have played a lot of games in my career and I have experience with the clubs and also with the national team, and of course I can do it. I have scored a lot of goals in the past, but I need to play a little bit more than only five minutes."
