Eastleigh have confirmed Fulham have an option on young striker Sam Wilson.

The 17-year-old has impressed for Blue Square Bet South outfit Eastleigh this season, prompting Fulham to hand him a run-out in their Academy side at the weekend.

But Eastleigh director of football Dave Malone said: "We have agreed with Fulham that we will not covet interest in the player from other clubs for a period of time and we will review that situation in the new year.''
