Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is planning to stay at Etihad Stadium and fight for his place despite the club's intentions to offload him this summer.
The Bosnian striker has been told he is surplus to requirements at City following a disappointing season that saw him score just six goals.
However, Dzeko's agent was quick to dismiss any transfer rumours for the 29-year old who has recently been linked with Liverpool and AS Roma among other European clubs.
His agent Irfan Redzepagic said: "Every day he is linked to some other club. I am bored of repeating those stories are not true.
"Edin has contract with Man City until 2018 and is happy at the club."
