Manchester City defeated struggling Wolves 4-3 at Eastlands with new signing Edin Dzeko declaring it was a bit different from the Bundesliga. Ineligible for Tuesday's FA Cup third-round replay with Leicester, City's £27million newcomer noted the culture shock.
"The game is different," smiled the Bosnian. "It is harder than Germany.
"It is probably going to take me a few games to find my feet, but I am very happy to be here and if we keep winning there will be no problem."
The 24-year-old almost celebrated a debut goal but his second half effort was deflected wide.
Carlos Tevez scored twice to cap a fine individual performance and to assure boss Roberto Mancini of the three points.
Dzeko was full of praise for his new team-mate.
"Carlos is an amazing player," he said.
