Edin Dzeko has made the strongest indication yet that he could be on the way out at Manchester City soon.
The Bosnian striker began last season in brilliant fashion, leading City's scoring after the first few months, but was quickly demoted to the bench as the club went on to win the Premier League title on the final day of the season.
Dzeko has often been linked with an Eastlands departure and although nothing has happened as of yet, he has hinted that perhaps a shift could be on the cards if he continues to be overlooked by Roberto Mancini.
"In the second half of last season, I suddenly got to start far fewer games - and I've got no idea why," he said.
"I lost my rhythm.
"I joined City in order to play in matches. I never imagined that things would turn out the way they have.
"I am too good for the bench.
"If I continue to sit matches out, then anything is possible."
