Dzeko has fingers crossed for Man City FA Cup final berth

Edin Dzeko hopes he has done enough for a starting spot in Manchester City's FA Cup eleven.

City meet Wigan Athletic at Wembley in the final on Saturday and Dzeko wants to be a part of the starting line-up after scoring in Tuesday night's 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion.

However, the Bosnian international knows the decision lies with manager Roberto Mancini.

"I don't know. It's not my decision, it's the decision of the manager," Dzeko told Sky Sports.

"I'm happy that I played today again 90 minutes, scored the goal and we will see. I think it is important that we win the cup, that's the only thing."

Dzeko added: "I think it was a very tough game. I can speak for myself and say I was very tired at the end of the game. I can't remember the last time that I played 90 minutes."
