Dynamo Moscow admit they failed with a bid for Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin.

The 31-year-old rejected their approach yesterday.

"Yes, I wanted to add this player to the team," said Dinamo manager and former Chelsea defender Dan Petrescu. "But Andrei said no to Dinamo."
