A return to Dynamo Kiev in January is on for Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko.

After being snubbed by new Chelsea boss Avram Grant for victories at Valencia and Bolton in the last week, Shevchenko is seriously considering asking away in January, says Controcampo.

A return to AC Milan has been ruled out due to their signing of Brazilian youngster Alexandre Pato, which has left Dynamo as favourites for the Ukraine international, who would have to accept a greater than 50 per cent pay-cut to make the move happen.

Shevchenko is on over £6 million-a-year at Chelsea, while Dynamo won't go higher than £2.5 million-a-year to bring him back home.
