Nathan Dyer has explained committing to a new four-year deal with Swansea City.
Dyer has revealed the hard times experienced by ambitious players who have walked out on the Liberty Stadium was partially behind his decision to sign a new four-year contract at Swansea City.
He said: "You only have to look at the players who have left and it's not always turned out well. You have to look at it and think, 'Is this the right club for me?' and it is. We're moving in the right direction so it was a no-brainer."
Asked if England caps were an ambition, Dyer said: "Yes. Obviously it would be lovely if it comes but I don't think about it. That's not my priority, my priority is here and keep consistent and get more goals this season."
